SP of each article is Rs 1200. Profit on first article is 10% and loss on 2nd one is 20%. Find overall profit or loss percentage.
If we do this using successive percentage formula i.e a+b+ab/100, i m getting loss =12% . But this is wrong. What is wrong in this method?

out of 4days, 2days were over.. now on 10th and 11th we have 8more slots.. now my doubt is what if after reading the reviews the candidates will follow safety strategy.... what i have observed is the number of attempts in average were near to 60 on 3rd october first two slots.. after reviews have come they were reduced to 55..approx.. and more over paper level difficulty was same in all 8 tests... quant was calculative and moderate, reasoning and english were easy and moderate... now if the candidates appearing on xth and xiith play a safe game by controlling their emotions.. then cutoffs are gonna increase by atleast 2-3 marks... but i know that doesnt happen practically...
