Computer Awareness is a critical portion in many important exams such as IBPS PO Mains. IBPS PO Mains has 20 questions on Computer Awareness.

This section is especially important since you can easily and quickly (and accurately) attempt a lot of questions from this portion. This section does not require in-depth knowledge or understanding of computers - it only requires awareness of basic details, names, categorizations, etc. Thus, students who have prepared well on this portion can score well in this section without spending much time (not more than 7 to 10 mins for 20 questions).

Cut-off:

As a result of this, cutoffs in this section are often quite high. For example, in IBPS PO CWE IV, the sectional cut-off in this section for General category candidates was 11 (out of 20) and 9 (out of 20) for OBC/SC/ST category candidates. Hence, it is extremely important that you are well-prepared in this portion - do not take this portion lightly.
