IT officer exam -- highlights from 2015 exam

Cutoffs were -  overall 104, eng 12, reas 13, quants 8, pk 14.

Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude were of 1 mark, while each question of English Language were of 0.5 marks and each question from professional knowledge were of 1.5 marks.

tutorialspoint.com tutorials to brush up concepts quickly

Mocks - 

career power, career launcher or mahindra.. They were all equal.. for individual mocks, Testpanda was cool too (there were seperate Quants mocks, Reasoning mocks and English mocks)

Important topics -

dbms, networking, OS, s/w engineering, data structure, internet security, CO, web tech and programming languages (basic)

1. What is the salary grade for officer scale 1? How much will be the inhand?

2. Are these officers posted in metros only or in tier2 cities as well?
