@toto15 check this link for HR Syllabus however the syllabus is not official it is taken from JAIIB Syllabus but it covers all the importatnt topics which are important from CWE SO(HR Officer) point of view

I wanted the feedback from puys if anyone has an idea of how the book. Read a few places that the book contains some printing mistakes but many people have also rated it quite good.

I dont know about the 1st book but I have bought the 2nd book i.e. book from Kiran Prakshan, the only diff. being it was without the CD. Overall the book is good with decent theory and a lot of questions for practise. I think most of the theory part is covered in the book and going the model tests u can know the parts u have missed out and then prepare for them.

Although i am preparing for IT officer, I am an MBA in marketing. I suggest you browse through individual topics, find PPTs on the same and go through the same. Then solve question papers to find out your level of preparation.
