IBPS CWE (Specialist Officer) 2013 Discussions

@AnkitChoudhary1 will theya sk for NOC? if i apply for post 1 n mention work exp?
@saikatha Yes I think they may ask for it at the time of joining.if you dont show work ex then at the time of interview they may ask you what you were doing after graduation..if you can answer it without mentioning work ex, its fine..
@punit_sharma_22 they havent mentioned any specific kind of experience..its should be after graduation and you will be eligible .they may check experience certificate or salary slips at the interview stage or document verification stage.. its just my assumption..no idea when will they check.
@AnkitChoudhary1 Thanx mate... i wil fill the form at the earliest..

hey any idea about the pay scale of IT officer scale II ?? and what is the ratio of interview and final selection ?
pay may be around 32k in hand..basic Rs.19,400.. including da and all it should come to be 32k per month..
about the ratio- 24.6k appeared for written, 157 qualified.. each bank called candidates separately that time, so no clue about final selections..
@gnsharda I filled the form and saved it to check if pic and sign have been attached correctly.. but now when i relogged its not allowing me to edit my application or submit it before 2 days...what kind of mechanism have they built..
@AnkitChoudhary1 hehe.. dey r making u used to government jobs.. mechanism kisiko samajh nahi aata !
@gnsharda dont know what they were thinking whille making the form.. and what you say seems right..
@AnkitChoudhary1 It is clearly mentione on the website that once you fill a data you can edit it only after 2 days

Hi all,

Do Ibps it officer scale 1 and scale 2 have same paper, or they go for different paper???
@sid12071990 but i want to submit it yaar..:D

@ all........... i applied for IT Scale 2...reasons stated above by many in favor of Scale 1 is understandable.....yet going through them and the data provided by some reflects a very interesting fact.....guys with experience are tilting for scale 1 jobs...quite a chance tat no of candidates applying for scale 2 will drop further compared to last year (24618 applied and 17766 appeared ).....last year 157 qualified for interview and there cutoff for general was 134...whereas for scale1 4394 qualified with cutoff 128......cutoff difference was 6 marks for general whereas qualified no. difference was 4237.....so itz quite apparent that competition at initial level is quite in favor of scale 2 , as it can't b possible that all 4237 were on just those 6 marks (as paper for both scales was same)....coming to final selection....someone here said that he gave last year's paper and only 60 ppl got job in scale 2 (correct me if i am wrong as i have only faint memory after going through 362 posts)...if tat is true and let me emphasize this point (as my previous experience with forums like these has been a nightmare where guys/girls are too sensitive and never read clearly) that if that is true then scale 2 has got much better strike rate once qualified in written, giving a psychological relief to people of greater assurance in final job placement.....and if most of the aspirants are deciding to shift for scale 1 because of their last years experience it will b a boon for candidates opting for scale 2 this time...
neways as per as my decision to opt scale 2 is concerned....a bit of above reasoning + my experience in TCS with Banking Services section as my unit (worked there for Deutsche Bank as my client and Credit Risk as my project group which i think would give me an edge 'IF' i qualify in written) + no particular inclination for Banking Jobs as such, more of my compulsion to get job right now than specific interest....gave PO June 2012 with low score of 158,Gen.. interview pending and so thought of applying for higher scale than PO.....+ most importantly scale 2 would b a bit decent platform financially compared to scale 1 to provide me support in my current preparation for civils....
that is why i said reasoning in favor of scale 1 is understandable but everyone got to apply his own situation into it for final selection of post....

i have a doubt ... if experence ppl are applying in scale 1 then how will be they preferrd as they are applyin fot position whr experince is not required
ur doubt is very rational.....no doubt there is no compulsion for experienced ppl to go for scale 2 only....but in any examination where there is a specific post for ppl with experience no special treatment is meted in interview to those who have experience and still opt for posts requiring no experience as such....and someone here mentioned that one of his friends who had experience and still he went for scale 1 and got selected....now that doesn't prove that his experience was the turning point or even a reason for him getting selected....it cud even had been his negative in final consideration...he might have got placed because of other answers he gave in interview or might be his scores in written gave him the ladder.....so i agree with you....
hello prajwal, welcome to the forum and your valuable inputs. What I think is that opting for scale 1 or 2 should be subjective decision, as it depends mainly on the profile of the people if they have relevant experience or not.. and how they weigh the risks involved and perks associated with them..and whether they think that this time it would be easier to bag scale 1 or scale 2.. my suggestion would be to make a decision and then start preparing for it,the more we will think the more confused we will be..all the best for the prep and exam.. :)

There is NO DEFINED SYLLABUS....We study merely by utilizing behavioral psychology......
MEANING....ki we try to try to determine what is important with respect to banks.....
