I did 3 sections well and Reasoning not well. In reasoning I have only attempted 20 max.
I couldn't get the cut-off of 25. But I feel questions were not tough at all.
It was an easy paper. Mine was afternoon session.
Each PK question was of how much marks ?..Thanks

paper was medium in level of difficulty. PK can fetch 75 , Quant was mediocre but caculation intensive, Reasoning was medium too. English was easy as always. Now best strategy is to solve 35 each in quant and reasoning, solve all in pk and english. Completely possible in given time.I have accuracy issues in quant otherwise selection was assured.

in PK most of the questions were related to which subject???
They were all from basics of computer science. I'd say if someone is too hell bent on preparing for it, ditch navathe or fourozan and pick up preeti sinha and pk sinha's book on introduction of cs. Guides like R Gupta are a complete waste of time. If someone is reading it,put it down right away, and never use it this moment onwards atleast for IBPS Scale 1 IT officer. pardon typos.

I appeared for scale 1 only, I was not talking about scale 2.
@bhanu100 :I have nt appeared yet for this yrs ibps so exam...but last yr when i appeared for technical officer scale I...questions were from all the subjects of btech 1st yr...like basic electronics,basic electrical,chemistry,phy,computers etc..this yr i dont have ny idea whether they have changed the paper pattern or nt..questions were nt problamatic..just theoritical..and basic ones..

For scale 2 my hunch is that you have to prepare for dbms, ccna level networking and system administration tasks under *nix. Plus some os concepts like transactions deadlock etc. They may ask a couple of C questions asking for output of a code block or spot the error types. Also Data structure concepts and algorithms where they ask the running time etc or best worst of the list of algoritms. Basics of control structure like loops and some testing conceptw like regression etc. Differences between worms trogens and viruses tec. names of few latest viruses etc. But then again its just a hunch.
