@bittu101 See - Last year abt 25000 registered for scale II, out of which 19000 appeared, and out of which only 157 qualified, so it was as low as 0.6% of the registered population who cleared the written - and irony was such that there were almost 0 vacancy for IT officer scale II in last year, so even those 157 didn't get the opportunity.. My target was to be among top this time, to cover up for such things as much as possible which are beyond my control..
ohh... 😃 That's Great dude! keep it Up!! means very less expectations with scale 2 vacancies... let's wait n watch! 😃 aapki b mehnat rang laayi hai boss! today u have done really very well it seems, as inferred from ur accuracy and attmpts.. and also u have done quite well in SBI SO.. as I saw in one of ur above posts! keep it up! and keep us inspiring! feels good to have motivation from guys here! 😃 Thank You!
@bittu101 while I was applying for the vacancy, many of my friends suggested to apply for scale I, considering the minimal vacancies in scale II last year - but I am banking this time on scale II - because
1) Last year there were almost no vacancies, so it gives better chance for more vacancies this year. Also IBPS can't continue like this next year with this post code, if there r no offerings for the selected candidates...
2) IBPS shall take common interview so, again better chance, as final rankings will be decided ..

to tell you the truth..the honest truth.. I want to avoid PO job..very hectic....IT officer you can stay in a city..get all perks and benefits..also less work pressure

I also feel the same. But sometimes my friends distract me saying - PO has better opportunity to climb up the ladder in the organisation, while IT officer scale I or II has verylimited opportunity

ab yahan baat aati hain ambition ki.. farq dikhega 40 saal ke baad... bt then may be ,just an idea, you want to prepare for state/union civils..OR mba exam..OR want to go in a very good private investment bank( like my brother works for JP Morgan).. so in all thse cases IT Officers..
contact only actual ppl who work ...there.. as PO know their exp draw your conclusion..
