i mean to say.. that your attempts in pk are slightly less your attempts in reasoning section is very good (it will fetch you a very good standard score)

Total score across all sections would be normalized or raw scores would be taken into account...???
normalized/standardized score would be taken into account and not raw ones.. e.g. ur 14/50 raw marks in reasoning may actually mean 26/50 standardized score. Got it? depends upon percentile after standardization process.

accuracy matters rather than no. of attempts.. if 37 me se 32-33 correct hon still u have bright chances.. 😃 oops sorry sorry.. tumhara toh IT officer 1 tha na.. ok in tht case, ur attempts are nayway less..
I m also one of the guys like u who is afraid of GK section, the only weeker section of mine I guess, relative to others.
but dude, it's not only GK.. it's Computer proficiency + marketing too!

I saw last year's SBI PO exam paper... went thru it thorougly.. esp'lly GK section. just imagine what would be the cutoff of the same?
it was just 11...
50 me se 27 odd questions toh computer+marketing+banking terminology pe hote hain for which u may anyway refer the basics if these 3 areas.. kafi books b ati hain respective u may check on flipkart/upkar publications..
it's not tough to crack tht section. infact within a very less time u may score relatively good amt of marks if u have just gone thru basics od the 3 areas..
i myself solved GK section in 15 minutes and ws able to manage 17 marks (without preparation and including negative for wrong answers) :)

if there is common interview for specialist officer then how will be the process, we have to give preference for bank or any other because for po and clerk its a single post, but for this there are multiple post so wat is the procedure of selection

arey bhai.. you will be called for interview? and then after interview will be given a combined total out of 100 then you will be asked to fill your preference (in your branch)
i have applied for HR officer and the pk was so easy and except reasoning all are good...but what a competitive questions in reasoning...hats off to the one/many who worked on setting up the question paper...awesome..it gave me a nice challenge....hope the result will be withing 2 weeks or even 10 days ..though the no of students appeared is less..compared to po and clerk...
