I am a b.tech in CSE with an experience of 1.5 yrs in Wipro..Am I eligible for grade I IT officer..What are the differences between grade I and II?? Can anyone provide the syllabus? Kindly help plz..

can i apply for IT officer scale 1 and 2 together.

for scale 2 wat kind of exprnc is needed? 1 year as IT officer scale 1 or in banking???

ya..thats given.. actually im working in a bank for 1 yr as clerk. that exprnc may nt b counted for it officer post...rite?? by the way..im not bro, im sis!!

Awweee...Srry 4 that.. Well u r r8..IT specialization has different role..Clerk under banks mostly deal in accntng..Hence ur experince is nt relevant to the post..BTW..r u an IT Grad??

Eligible.

Scale II needs experience and so has a higher salary offered. You can apply for anyone out of the two.

im working in sbt in kerala... clerk job has become kind of boring... so planning for the ibps exam.. but po exam is really tough..

@Estallar12 IBPS comes out with a notification on CWE(specialist officer). i am an engineer with no work-ex and i am elligible for both IT-officer Scale-I and Technical officer. both are asking for b.tech. can you please distinguish between them?

I cant really say that..Haven't given a single PO competitive xam yet..Waise CWE-II di hai..Pass..FCI Tier-II ke liye bhi qualified hun..4 both the paper..Lets C..Waise i wud suggest u 2 apply for Scale-I ...Decent package in terms of salary..n u'll have a higher chances..Exp of 1 year..

The one which attracts your interest. IT Officers and Tech Officers will have diff. roles as the name suggests. :)
