I had appeared last time for IBPS specialist officer exam for IT officer scale-I ...scored 121/200 with computer knowledge 23/50.........playing the spoilsport...i m appearing again....so you can ask any queries regarding IBPS specialist officer...

P.S:if you can suggest any book for computer knowledge as these questions came from engineering subjects related to IT..it would be really helpful

What kind of questions were there in PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE section? I mean..the difficulty level.
@TONYMBA plz guide us , what is the level oh exam and from where we have to prepare for profesnl knowledge (it officer)

and How is IT scale I different from IT scale 2?

professional knowledge in IT officer scale -I almost consists of subjects covering Computer networks in engineering and some basic hardware questions....its like gk...if you know you can answer...if you dont know you have to leave...

IT scale II is for working professionals with more than 1 year experience...IT officer scale I is for freshers as well as working professionals

Salary for scale is good....over 35000.....

The banks conduct exams for the following cadres:
Bank Probationary Officers (PO)
Bank Clerks or Probationary Clerks
Bank Specialist Officers (SO)

Career as a Bank Probationary Officer (PO):A Probationary Officer's post is the entry to the most coveted managerial positions in the banking industry. A P.O. starts as a trainee officer in the Junior Management Grade Service (JMGS) of the bank and can rise to the highest grades of the bank in his career becoming a General Manager, a Director or even the Chairman of the Bank. Needless to say, a Bank PO's position is seen with tremendous respect in the society as it secures a life long opportunity to grow, prosper and serve the society in a senior and responsible position in the Banking industry. And, therefore, every Bank P.O. Exam attracts lakhs of talented graduates, post-graduates and professionals to compete for a few hundred or thousand vacancies notified by the banks.
