i mentioned that ECE questions may come for Techical officer post....not IT officer post..

Tell your friend to look up the syllabus for electronics for GATE exam...then tell him to tone it down....and just learn the basics......

This tech officer thing is very confusing....that is why I did;nt apply in it (even though CS grads are eligible for it)

i just confirmed from my friend of etc branch that technical officer paper on professional knowledge gives the questions basically on physics of class 11th & 12th e.g kirchoff's law,semiconductors(basic electronics of btech 1st year) & general computer knowledge e.g internet related questions,computer hardware,etc...of basically easy level.....

P.S: electronics & instrumentation can apply for technical officer i guess...also can go for IT officer...both scales..

electronics and instrumentation guys cn definitely go for technical post
if they hav courage to fight the huge competition of various trades ec et ei ee etc..

paper is very easy but at the same time competition is huge ..so whether it is it officer scale 1 or tech scale 1 ... without 100% efforts ... one cant expect a job in bank in SO II.

bhaiya acc to this, for scale 2, out of 17k only 157 was selected n cutoff was 134
