In my view you should go ahead with your MBA plans, but only try for top 20 b-schools. Knowledge and Education is by-far the greatest investment one can make for his career. Knowledge always pays especially a lot in pvt sector

Most of those who hold high degrees and yet not getting their share of the pie would definitely call it a mistake (including me, of course :wow:) to leave fully settled govt. job and go for MBA. But, judge yourself, what are your plans for future and how much are you passionate about that, it matters. If you want to go for MBA just for the sake of a professional degree, you can choose distance mode of education. But if you have some other plans, like setting up ventures or such big thing, I would suggest you to opt for MBA. That too, only if you are pretty sure of not getting diverged from the decision. There should not be any reprimand henceforth...

if you are trying hard for a good college (by good college i mean in top 50 indian MBA colleges) then you can go for it. but first get selected in any good B-school and then leave the job! it will not be a mistake in any form. best of luck!:thumbsup:

Dear sowjanyabhavana, your score is at just cut off level which is very less in today's competition, and it also seems that you are not reading newspaper regularly as your descriptive paper is not clear so i will suggest you make a habit of reading newspaper daily (prefer English newspaper and that too THE HINDU) and must join any coaching of bank po for atleast 3 months and do practice in each section equaly!!! best of luck
