Guys, first read the notification how IBPS does normalisation. It's mentioned they use Equipercentile method. Those who want to know what's equipercentile method can go to : https://byjus.com/bank-exam/ibps-equipercentile-method/ People from every shift will be selected equally irrespective of the difficulty level. Normalised scores are calculated based on percentile of a candidate in his shift and then a rank list is prepared according to the percentile obtained by each candidate. So even if someone scores 70 in an easy shift doesn't guarantee him a seat in mains. Some people are trying to demoralise students who have attempted in 50-60 range who will then not prepare for mains because they would think they are out of the race. When they will finally see their name in the selected list for mains, it will be too late to prepare. Just don't waste your time on this nonsense and start preparing if you feel you did you best.
