Last year experience - Last year I registered under UR (creamy layer OBC). I got 8.5 marks more than cut off (52.5) and my interview was not that good. I was the first candidate to face the panel that day. I couldn't answer most of the questions. My final marks came out to be 38.4. I was not selected in UR category but my cut off was more than OBC. That means I got 14 in the such a bad interview. Strange. So I would say that there is a fair chance for them who get 93+ in UR category or 80-82+ in OBC category. Because we can not predict interview marks. Wait for Result Day.. BEST OF LUCK to all.

Were we supposed to speak in English throughout the interview? I answered the questions asked to me in English, in English, and the ones in Hindi, in Hindi. So it was half in Hindi and half in English. But now some guys are telling me I should have answered all the questions in English only. Is that right ? :-/

Cutoff 46.69 It will not go above that in any circumstance. Do not argue...Just wait for 1st april.
Guys pls tell that in banking sector, marks are awarded for accuracy (Quant & Reasoning) as well besides the total no. of question attempted?

Last time asking this: My score in IBPS PO mains is 101.5 and category is General.....How much do i need in interview to get selected?

well just to ease the situation here...see the trend below
2013 mains cut off was 26 taking its 80 percent it becomes 10.4 the final cut off was 26.2 so 15.8 interview scores had sealed the deal
2014---56 mains cut off...taking its 80 percent=22.4 final cut off was 36.4..so 14 marks in the interview had sealed the deal
2015---47.75=19.1...final cut off was 36.3 so a score of 17.2 in the interview had sealed the deal
2016---31.5=12.6...final cut off = 28.6..so 16 in interview had sealed the deal...
so the heart of the matter is this year cutt of can be in the range of 29-32 ..well personally i believe it wont be 29 but surely it can not go pass 32 ...

Does anyone know someone from last year who got 4 to 5 marks above cut off and got selected..If possible then pls share intrvw marks and final marks..a good majority has obtained far above the cut off this year..
