Saw the video that predicted the cutoff will be above 50 and the candidates who scored 82 has no chance to get selected. I dont know who that guy is or what his credentials are but i do know that the guy doesn't know a shit about what he is talking. First of all, there is no chance of the cutoff going above 50, at max it will be 49.15. IBPS has shortlisted the candidates with 82 marks because they also stand a chance to clear the final cutoff, may be they need to score more marks in interview but they definitely have a chance, otherwise why the hell would they shortlist a candidate with 82 marks. Secondly, The No.of vaccancies is not going to affect the final cutoff....IBPS always shortlist approximately 3 times the no.of vaccancies for interview, this will neutralize the effect of increase or decrease in vaccancies. And for all candidates who are worried about their final selection because they got less marks in mains...pls dnt worry, hope for the best as u still have a chance like anybody else, and for all those who scored more marks don't get over confident as your final selection is not yet certain(For SBI PO I have given the best interview of my life and i was so sure that i would get atleast 20 out of 30 but when the result came i got only 12 and i failed to clear the final cut off by 1 mark....) The interview marks can really make or break you no matter how much u score in mains, ofcourse candidates with more marks has more chance but it does not guarantee the final selection. All the best everyone...we all have done our best we can and thing are not in our hand anymore, so Chill out guys and hope for the best :)
Bhai jo yeh baat keh rhe hai ki ibps po ka cut-off 50+ Jayega they are totally wrong....Reason behind this is that....ibps ka cut-off tha 82 ...ratio me convert kre toh Hume milta hai 29.15...isme agar hum interview k 20 marks b add kr de toh b yeh 49.15 hi hota hai..lekin ibps me kabhi b aisa nhi ho skta ki cut-off + 20 final merit jaye(As per last 4 years trend)...sbi me ho skta hai kyunki waha 75:25 hai aur ibps me 80:20... Isliye jiska b main clear hua hai, uska chance hai....wait till 1st April....Hope for the best✌✌

Need a little help from you guys here on pg. My ibps po interview was in Lucknow. At the start i forgot to wish them and when i started speaking one of them said speak a little louder. Other than that there was no problem.i was asked about 6-7 questions from banking and i answered 4 of them. I said sorry for the one i did'nt knew the answer of. In the end i was also asked about triple talaq bill and i gave my opinion on it and they seem very satisfied. 1) How much can i expect in interview. 2) Which bank conducts interview in lucknow?.please answer.thanks in advance
