I m not too sure but m sharing what I think would like anyone with better idea to clarify on this...
Meritlist will be prepared overall (without any catagory) and then reserved catagory and sub catagories...
For Unreserved seats (please note that those are not for general only Its UR) they will go by overall merit list... lets say PNB has 178 seats for unreserved then 178 people (who hav given PNB as choice) will be alloted who are Top 178 overall (General+OBC+SC+ST or any)...
Similarilly there will be reserved seats and there they will consider the merit wise list in the relevent catagories...
Now All reserved catagory people have double chances, one in Unreserved catagory and one in there respective catagory... They for sure have more chances than Unreserved... I again wish all of us to be PO from this exam only... chahe jaise v ho... Ki farak painda hai... Bus IBPS baba PO bana do.

Han bhai log please iske oopar kam kar lo... jitni v info collect ho sakti hai... Allowences kitni kitni hai... in Hand kitna dete hai... within circle kitne mahine pe transfer karte hain (during probation)... Tranfer allowence kitna hai... etc etc... ab kya hai na ki ek bar join kar liya fir toh fir kuchh kar ni sakte na... :D

yes..ibs is lyk a bombshell..so unpredictable!! so fingers crossed.. bt it wld have been bettr if dey had mentioned d specific dates 2 ease d tension of candidates lyk us.. 
@sharmaa_ravi the seats are not for general category.....its been mentioned as 'unreserved' so the seats of the specially treated section will start filling up after all the seats are allocated to unreserved quota.....................but 1 thing to consider this might change considering the priority order of candidates.....lets say if a sc guy gets a rank of 5k and he aspires for bob then he will fill up the bob sc seat as its not possible for him to fill up bob unreserved seat in the unreserved category coz of the high demand of bob....
And I thought Reserved category guys are first allotted their reserved seats then if some of them are still having higher marks than General category guys, they will overtake those seats from the general. 😲
guyz ll make u clear one thing......if two candidate having same marks but one seat left in that case seat ll be alloted to reserved cat student......bt kam chance honge aisa hone ke
