the process of selection.step 1. marks will be calculated a/c to their weightage from written+interviewstep 2. everybody's marks irrespective of obc/sc/st/vi/oh/ur will be made.step 3. top 11058 student will be picked from the merit list.step 4. now the obc/sc/st who has been selected in the above list will be removed from the list.step 5. now top 6062-OBC, 3409-SC, 1886-ST will be selected from their respective list.step 6. now it will be observed that 345-VI, 436-HI, 257-OC, has been included in that list or not. if not then they will be picked from thier merit list and will replace bottom obc/sc/st/ur.hope i am clear.

Bhai ye to kehna bahut mushkil hai , but mere khayal se 20% candidates absent hote hai har exam me, hence 12000 students ne interview nahi diya hoga out of 61k .
hence the count comes down to 49000. now out of those absent 12000 , how many are high scorers , guessing that is very tough....

@3.ranjan . .If obc,sc,st people are eliminated then what is the meaning of open competition? For example if an obc got top marks in ibps 2 then he can get in pnb,assuming pnb is prefrd by top rankers. So in that case that guy can get without reservation. . That means open comptn. So UR post will be filled. Am nt sure bt this wat hapens in councelng for higher studies. .aftral i think it all depend on the bank. .we dont knw wats banks criteria cud be
@kajju Well em considering the prfit making capability of every bank...These were told by my dad wh0 himself is a banker...Acttaully in my list Corp Bank is way higher at 3rd position :)
