can some one pls throw light on promotion policy of BOB ... is it based on exams like jaaib,caaib etc .... or soley based on experience.....
which among PNB and BOB is best to choose.... and why..
i m from andhra pradesh... i dont have problem working anywhere ,.... as i m already working in MNC in pune....so dont have any language issues also....

@deepu149405 ur right bro but for faster prmotion you have to appear for jaaib/caaib(every 2 years) and on exp based it will take arround 6-7 yrs ,as acrding to ur marks u will get pob/pnb/boi if they r u 1st 3 option

pnb-1,bob-2,i believe for faster growth go for bob as they very aggressive in market unlike typical psu banks
@trendifiers dont want to let go the opportunity of getting into tier 1 banks.. jsut for the sake of home posting.... i would have choosen andhra bank instead but its a tier 2 bank....
Also the after 2 to 3 years i would get my region as they would ask preference atleast.. and competition to my south region is very less... as most of the ppl in banks like PNB/BOB will be from northern part....

@ongc_ashu dont loose hope bro.. no one can predict about the chances of getting into a bank...u can get into bank...no one knows what ibps has in its bag.... as it surprised many by giving the interview marks weightage...the way how it turned the fates of many candidates....

The rank given by that site is right... i dunno how they get it...ur rank will be between 1500 and 2000, as ur marks were above 68!

I have a score of 69.12 but willing to apply for "so called" tier 2/tier 3 banks like Allahabad, UCO and Central bank in view of home postings and let go off tier 1 banks..
