Yes ...u r right....bt promotion policy is weak ....the person whom i met told me that u ll be frustrated by doing data entry for longer period.....and after revision of bank salaries ...bank will have more salaries than ECGC.

IBP will give posting starting from rank 1 then 2 and so on...so ur no. would come first...now suppoe u have mentioned
1) pnb
2)BOB
3)UCO
by the time they reach u,lets say PNB and BOB are already full so no vacancy...so u shall get ur third option i.e UCO...even if other candidate behind u ha written UCO as first they wouldnt get preference as u have got more marks so u would have more option to choose from
