consider ur rank is 8000 and not 6000...as u r a general candidate, the unreserved seats will be filled first and in that segment ur rank is 8000..simple!

I think those so called merit lists are not authentic coz my name is not featuring in any of the lists. I scored 62.76. So, its only IBPS who knows the truth....there mght be many more whose names are not featuring in those lists.

lagta hai ki jo unreserved hai usme gen, obc,sc,st sab aa jayenge aur jo bache we obc, sc,st se hi lenge kya???

for example..
suppose m an SC candidate..
i have overall rank of 400 and category rank of 12..
i have given my frst preference for PNB....
now my general will not get me PNB but my category can...
so i will leave my general rank and take my my category rank....
my general rank will lapse....
its not lyk dat..
