Step (2) A list of 50 candidates will be declared from this combine merit list which will consist general, SC, ST and OBC candidates on the basis or their marks obtained (Important)Step (3) From the remaining candidates a list of 27 OBCcandidates will be declared from this combine merit list on the basis or their marks obtained i.e. marks obtained less then the marks of last unreserved candidate (cutoff marks) selected.Step (4) After step (2) from the remaining candidates a list of 23 SC-ST candidates will be declared from this combine merit list on the basis or their marks obtained i.e. marks obtained less then the marks of last unreserved candidate (cutoff marks) selected

Candidates belonging to OBCs recruited on the basis of merit in an open competition on the same standards prescribed for the general candidates shall not be adjusted against the reservation quota of 27%.In your case if out of 100 seats 50 seats are unreserved (General) and 27 are reserved for OBC and 23 are reserved for SC-STs. Because only 27% reservation is given to 50% population of OBCs.

@muthamizh said:@nids1412 he wiil be given the pnb quota under sc category so there will be a lapse in one general seat which could be filled by another general candidate.suppose if a obc candidate with his rank in 100,he will considered under general , opting for pnb but he could not get that.that time he will be put into obc category.then he will get pnb.so that time obc seat will be filled by him and his general will be filled and obc in lapse which will be filled by another obc canddate.so however he will get his pnb allotment.
i dont know why did the panel did this but i am not qualified for further process. Not selected in interview.156 in written they did not give me even 40 marks to pass.Very sad .Cant come out of the trauma.
