i am not able to find anything similar in the study material i have.
P,Q,R,S,T and V are six students studying in three standards 8,9 and 10. Each student has secured different marks in a competitive exam. R studies in 9th and has secured more marks than P and V. S studies in 8th and has secured less marks than T and Q. T's only classmate has secured the highest marks. V who is studying in standard 9th has secured more marks than T and P. P studies with S.

TRICKS FOR SQUARING A NUMBER
Range any two digit number...........
ex:1 14
choose any multiples of ten which is nearer to the number......
In this case iam choosing 10.......
write it in two part like 14 +4
the first part is the number and second part is difference between 14-10=+4
now square the second part number (+4)^2 is 16.....so write 6 and remember carrier is 1
Now add two numbers depends upon the sign so it is 14+4=18+1(carrier)=196
ex 2: 28 i have choose 30 as a base
so 28 -2 (28-30=-2)
squaring 2nd number is (-2)^2=4
28-2=26 *3=78 here we multiply with 3 because 30/10=3
the ans is 784
ex:3
73= 73 +3 =76*7 9 = 5329 here we r multiplying with 7 because(70/10)=7

Note last digit is 7 ........so write 7 as 3 strike the last three digit number 148(877)= 53
(148 in nearer to 5^3)the first three digit is nearer to 5^3
For last digit 7=3 ,2=8 (vice versa)
For Any other number the number itself
FOR EG 704969 LAST DIGIT IS 9 SO PUT 9
STRIKE LAST THREE NUMBER 704(969)= 89 (704 =>8^3)
