A group of five friends recently met in an alumni meet at their college. When asked about their whereabouts, likes and dislikes by their ex-professors, these friends tried to puzzle their professors by giving them certain clues.

These friends lived in Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad and had these cities labeled as 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 not necessarily in that order and arranged on a piece of paper in ascending order of their city labels. Their professions were Architect, Lawyer, Pilot, Scientist and Doctor. These friends liked reading books on fiction, science, business, motivation and literature, played the games from among Football, Cricket, Tennis, Badminton and Chess and also had a special liking for the TV channels from among News, Sports, Business, Entertainment and Geography....

No two people had any of these parameters same i.e. no two of them were from the same city or of the same profession or liked reading the same variety of books or played the same games or had the same TV channel as their favorite. Following were the clues given by the friends to their professors. The Architect lives in Kolkata. The Lawyer prefers business as his TV channel. The Pilot reads books on fiction. Chennai is placed to the immediate left of Mumbai. The person from Chennai likes books on science. The person who plays Cricket prefers sports channel. The person from Delhi plays Football. The person living in the city placed at the center prefers to read books on motivation. The Scientist lives in the city labelled as number 1. The person who plays Tennis is from the city adjacent to the one who likes watching geography channel. The man who watches news channel lives in the city placed next to the city of the person who plays football. The person who plays Badminton reads books on business. The Doctor plays Chess. The Scientist lives in the city placed besides Hyderabad. The city of the person who plays Tennis is next to the person who likes

reading literature.

Q1.What is the profession of the person who lives in Hyderabad?

Q2.Which TV channel does the person from Mumbai prefer to watch?

Q3.Which game does the person, who prefers reading books on motivation, play?

Thebuilding has nine floors and onlyone person stays on one floor. All ofthem own one car each, and eachcar is of a different colour, i.e. blue, grey, white, black, yellow, green, red, orange and pink not necessarily inthe same order. The ground floor isnumbered 1, the floor above it, number2 and so on and the top mostfloor is numbered 9.H owns a black coloured carand stays on an even numberedfloor. A stays on any even numberedfloor below the floor on which Hstays. The one who owns an orangecoloured car stays on the fourthfloor. E stays on the second floorand owns the white coloured car.The one who owns a pink colouredcar stays on the third floor. A doesnot own a green coloured car.
