Really this wait is frustrating and disappointing...:-(:-(
since last week i've changed my home page from google to PG.
I guess i m in same situation as anupam if not worse..
request all to help me out..
I have UK work permit and my UK visa bimoetric date is 21st tuesday..
My manager doesn't know that i appeared for this exam and awaiting for results..
So now if i got selected wat should be my course of action?
B4 initiating my WP my manager asked for my future plans , bt at that time i said no since it was b4 written test and i wasnt sure i'll crack all the rounds till interview..
tomorrow is national holiday....so result will come on Tuesday!! ATB

You must have contingency plan in place if not got selected.You have onsite opportunity in hand. On 21st you will be able to know whether got selected or not. It will be clear by afternoon.
Don't say no at the moment to your manager..But if got selected then try to convince your manager that your future is most important for you and this is best what you can do.
If we both got selected... then see at NIIT..ATB.

Attend the visa interview and also check the results on 21 dude.. then if u have the confidence that u'll earn more and also good exp in ur UK trip then go for it.. or if u feel that this trip wouldn't be so useful then convince ur manager that u want to go for higher studies and u got an opportunity with some one of the top business schools in the world.. don't reveal abut ICICI BLP with ur manager..

This is not much easy as if u ll ask release for higher studies only, u need to submit necessary documents at least admission letter.
And if u have not mentioned to anybody in ur team or office , then only ur manager does not kno about it.

dude.. there's no mandate to submit the documents for proof.. its one's career that other person will have no control on that.. so it's janak's call now hw to manage his life and important decisions related to his life..

Before commenting on sumthing, KINDLY look into wat is written there.
I have written if he will ask for release for HIGHER STUDIES ONLY(look into wordings) , den he needs to submit proof.Because for higher studies , companies will release u with less notice period.
If he is going to serve normal notice period or any other way ,then no need to submit anything.
Obviously that is his life so he should take decision.
But he asked that what should he do? So I gave suggestion.
Just by telling wrong thing or lie to anyboby, nobody will get anything in longer term.
I just told him to be honest and frank as his manager.

why not reveal about the ICICI BLP ?it's as good as any other top B-school's prog!!!It's just tht it's sort of sponsored!!!This prog is the flagship course for mid-level mgrs. pre-another-ICICI NSM 1year prog!!!So I opine u cn announce this well n loud.PLUS this offers u a one grade higher than d one offered to IIM grads at campuses,so it's supposedly b8r!!!
