I would advise him to invest Rs 100000 in Tax saving FD/ Public PF as that would not only fetch a good amount at maturity but will also saving tax on his current income for 5 yrs/ 10 yrs respectively.

Next, to protect his investment from fluctuating market conditions, he should invest in derivatives like future contracts.

He should also buy high credit-rated bonds that give a good yield%.

Good ETFs could also be added to his portfolio to provide divesification at costs lower than MF schemes.

Since he has a risk appetite too he could invest in "growth" equities so that he can hold them for a longer term for a good return.

A good Life Insurance plan is also a must have considering his age.

try forgot pass option they will send credentials to your mail

@[602194:murali603] : thanks for the response dude, i have tried that as well, doesnt seem to work, comes back with the error reading "invalid credentials". have emailed icici bank. got to see if they can fix this. cheers
