@mba1987_k: suppose bank is giving some person an amount of 100 INR, the bank will get an amount of 85 INR only with 8%p.a interest rate at the sum given by bank for a time period of 7 years, means a total of 141 INR will be in pocket of bank after recovery of loan form party after 7 years, this is my understanding, correct me if i am wrong.

The upload problem is some db error. My guess is they have stopped accepting the uploaded documents. Even I faced the same problem. Could not upload the birth certificate copy today. No issues I think. ICICI sent me a message in the morning itself that I will need to bring copies of all the relevant documents which were required to be uploaded. That will suffice. To be sure I have mailed them the issue with a screenshot.

@[602007:nCts] In real life banks use Compound Interest for loan pay back calculations. However, for simplicity sake, here we can use Simple Interest concept to calculate the bank's Return On Investment:
Assuming loan amount = Rs 100
1- BBC Shipbreaking Company: SI = 100*7*8/100 = 56, Rs 156 is 100% recoverable by 7 yrs.
2- Credit Company: SI = 100*8*9/100 = 72, Rs 172 is 90% recoverable (= Rs 154.8) by 8 yrs.
3- Sonyo Shipping: SI = 100*5*13/100 = 65, Rs 165 is 85% recoverable (= Rs 140.25) by 5 yrs.
Now, lets see how much ROI bank gets, at the end of 5 yrs for each of these
1. BBC Ship Breaking Company - Rs (156/7) *5 = Rs 111.4
2. Credit Company - Rs (154.8/8)*5 = Rs 96.75
3. Sonyo Shipping - Rs 140.25
So, if the bank gives Rs 100 to each of these, Sonyo Shipping would give the best return by 5 yrs. Hence, my vote goes for Sonyo
@[578187:SUNMUDULI] mate you need to rationalize the principal amount along with time period to equate them like this ..

@[578187:SUNMUDULI] is 140 greater than 156?
