Hiiiiiiiii I am vicky. how was the test. Could you share ur experience
The test was not tough....was not very easy too due to less time available per question....There were 5 sections:
1. Reading Comprehension (very easy) 5 questions in 9 min
2. Quant (not too easy due to time given) 20 questions in 18 min
3. Sentence correction (quite easy) dont remember time/no. of questions exactly
4. Diagrammatic reasoning (very easy) dont remember time/no. of questions exactly
5. Analogies (Quite easy) dont remember time/no. of questions exactly
Test time was 44 min...... negative marking info not given...
But, i m sure, due to level of the test, there will lot of people above 97-98 percentile
U will be asked to fill the form, which u filled while submitting the application, again at the test centre.
Thanks rahul for giving such valuable information. Any one from Bhubaneswar appearing BMAT on 14th of dis month????Plz reply...:lookround:
The test was an easy for those who prepared for PO exams....As per my information there were around 6000-6500 candidates short listed for the written test and they need to take 120 in batch -I.
considering that they put 1:6 ratio... 120X6 = 720 ( may b 600- 1000) people wud b called for the next stage...so a person has to secure somewhere 85+ percentile...
just speculating.....the realy story may b something else....

Vicky: Whether there was sectional cutoffs
Hi Guys,
I have attended the test today and was disappointed with the way it was conducted. Lot of ICICI employees participated in this exam and invigilator was the one who works with them.Invigilators was literally helping those guys with answers!!
Now i doubt how the next rounds gonna be. Looks like the process is not professional for its reputation.
@SRD...is der any -ve marking??????
@Sarav1986-u were appearing at which centre???
@neela: I attended today in chennai.
@neela- They told us that there were no negative marking.
triple Says@srd.rdx...are u sure there are 6000+ candidated who are shortlisted for this exam...from where did u get this information?
If you check the Roll NUmbers it starts with IB0020001 and it ends somewhere @ IB00207500 ...these were total applications...(Disclaimer :- total my guess work)
if u check the Application Status in a row...taking a sample size you will find roughly 15-25% showing as the Appilcation not shortlisted reply.....
Out of the shotlisted...even few will skip the test....
so I expect it somewhere as 6000 people who are actually take the test ...
@ Vicky : Yes, the rules in the beginning of the test say that the candidate would be required to score above a minimum cut-off in order to pass the test.
@Sarav : Thats a real bad news yaar..... How can ICICI employees b the part of this selection? They had clearly mentioned in the original advertisement that ICICI employees shall not be the part.....
