ICICI Business Leadership Programme - Min 3 Yrs Work Ex Required

@Prometheus890
In a group of 10 it really depends on the moderators and the topic.
In some group max 6 were selected and in some min 2 were selected. so its not certain on this to count your chances to get in.
Be confident and make relevant points even if everyone is in favor of the topic and you are against it. It gives you bounty points, but be firm on one side only.

All the Best !

Hi all,

I had a wonderful gd and pi exp yesterday. The whole experience took almost 4 hrs.
Initially they checked all my original documents and took my self attested ones.
Then they made different groups of 10 ppl each for gd.
My gd topic was Market research of a Shipping firm.
We were given 30 mins to go thru the caselet and had to fill a sheet where we were asked
the problem definition,analysis and solution.
After 30 mins, we were asked to read what we had written....there's no such thing as extempore
..we simply had to read....once we all finished reading.....then the actual gd started.

After all the gds were completed. They announced the names of the students who got selected
for pi. On an avg they were selecting 4-5 ppl. In my group 4 were selected.
pi was around 10-15 mins for all and the questions were more on your resume,OPQ and general questions
like y u want to this course....no suprises

I hope I have provided an overview of the process.ATB

@rrockstar Can you Give more detail about ur GD topic..
@prsnn_nrynn yeah she should accept this offer. the reasons are following-

1. she was looking for alternative ways of making money, & this is one the the alternate ways.

2. the total amount invested by her in pickle making is 197 rupees, there were 40 bottles , so total amount she earned is 400 rupees & margin is 400-197 = 203 rupees which is 30% of her income whatever she is earning from co-operative.

3. market price is 16 rupees per bottle whereas, she is selling @ 10 rupees per bottle , so in terms of market cut throat competition her business will obviously survive.

4. she is handpicking her tomato , so she does care for purity of product, this way her business will bloom too.

5. she is monetarily helped by her friend too....so all reasons are in favor of starting business!!!!!!!! so she should accept the offer!!!!!!!
@karthi87 lo bro! i think option 5 is much better than all!

we have to raise 2 ,00,000 rupees by 1000 students.

i guess entertainment is the best way to raise such huge amount in little time.
& music festival is the best .

music festival host karo , college mai 1000 students hai so 1000 diffirent minds,

music festival host karo...toh college ke hi student perform karenge, suppose 50 college student perform karte hai.... 5 students ka ek band hai so total 10 bands ban jaate hai. hame total 2 lakhs rupees collect karne hai.

suppose ye college festival 10 days chalta hai, & poore city mai iska ad kiya jaata hai.... per day 1 band perform karega....so 10 bands for 10 days.....

1 st day 1 band ne perform kiya jisme city ke sabhi colleges ke bande aaye ......& 1 day approx. 1000 bande aaye 1st day ka band show dekhna..... aap ticket ki price 20 per person rakho so total 1st day aap 1000 x 20 = 2,00,00 tak collect karenge..... isi tarah baki 9 bands perform kare.... toh ham 10 days mai 2,000,00 rupees kama sakte hai!!!!

baki jitne bhi option hai....4,3,2,1 unse bhi accha idea ban sakta hai...lekin sabse best 5th option hai.... log entertainment pe sabse jayda spend kar sakte hai....specially jab wo unke budget mai ho..... 20 rupees har koi spend kar sakta hai....so 1000 bande college festival mai aana pakka hai boss!!!!! itni bheed hai india mai!!!! entertainment ko kuch bhi chalega!!!!!!!
.

@meepal the country earns it's revenue through tourism, so tourism is all in all for that arab country , if tourism deplete country depletes, and if the kind does not comply with then oposition party will initiate a coup so basically situation is like this---- """" AAGE KHAI HAI TOH PEECHE GADDHA """ if the king really cares for his country then he should not permit this . he should ask for help from his neighbour countries because this dictatorship is happening with his country right now ...so it can happen with other his neighbour or other countries too. the following should king can do

1. EITHER MAKE AN IMPACT OR GO FOR A WAR AGAINST THE DICTATOR COUNTRY

2. TAKE HELP FROM HIS NEIGHBOUR OR OTHER COUNTRIES

3. the situation is like do or die...... so agar country ka king able hai war ko toh jaye war ko ...nahi toh help maange dusre powerful country se!!!!!!!

Hi Guys,

Just finished my GD/PI at Asia Pacific, Delhi.
GD was good and out of 10, 4 was selected for PI. In PI, i feel that the interviewers was more focussed on "Why are u opting for this course".

I had seen that the interview for the engineering grads was very short (in duration). Did other candidates also felt the same?

Please let me know, in case any questions.

Thanks,
Saurabh

@meepal:

According to me king should go with the contract.. tourism will be affetced but not completely stopped. with proper arrangement tourism can be sustained. Mining will boost country's economy and generate employment oppurtunity for local ppl

@yadavsaurabh : Can u share your GD topic and PI general questions pls.

I have my GP PI tomorrow At Andheri, Mumbai. Anyone else?

@yadavsaurabh can u plz elaborate ur case study topic?

Hello Puys,

It's that time again. Many are appearing for the GDPI for the second or third time, and with what I have noticed is that puys here freak out very often. I know that the wait is bad, but the fact remains that the panic does not help anyone. We all have a job, and what we are now aiming is for a training in management. Requesting you all to be patient. It's either you are selected or you are not. It has been a painful wait for me as well last time, I thought of sharing my experience if it helps.

Only selected candidates will be sent mails, and no matter how many calls you give them, it won't change a thing. Simple as that. I remember last time as well panic prevailed and ICICI had said that they will be rolling out results till the last day (GDPI results), but only one or two reported getting it on the last day on this forum. If others had received on the last day, then either they were not on this forum or they chose to remain silent)

What we need to do is prepare for the GDPI, give our best shot and then continue life as we have been doing. Strange thing that I see the same craziness here as in the audition for that not-so-impressive road show on MTV with two similar looking baldies (who did terrible acting in a movie).

Cheers!
@yadavsaurabh hey sourabh could you plz tell us something about the GD topic. hows much time they will give to read and discuss??
@whosaniac07 I so agree with u dude...:-)
