We have so far not given any verification detail to them like manager contact numbers or organization HR numbers for these sort of verification....
If they are calling you in person then it is basically a database management from their side...Thats all...I received a call to confirm my current position in my organization and exact date of joining....

We have examples for the Last year batch people who have received these calls and still didn't get selected.
And people who didn't receive any calls got selected as well.......So....

@Ramzz I think instead of NUMAT the written exam we had taken will carry some weightage...since that was an elimination test too...
