For The 7th batch, which will commence on April,2014, Can some1 please let me know When is the Aptitude Exam and what is the last date to apply ?
Is there only 1 date of Exam(Common Exam) or we have a multiple dates ?
@Ashdon4u - This is my 2nd attempt. Earlier I reached till GD - that was in july this year. I had undergone a surgery of my throat so could not be loud enough in the GD and like always people were shouting .. 😃
The difficulty level is moderately ok - I prepared for bank exams for sometime so I found it ok, not much of analogies are asked.
lets see how it goes this time as I'll take the 1st round on Nov 30

ICICI Business Leadership Programme on nov 24th for 2014 batch...can u please let me know when we can except the result....

Can any one discuss plesae the difficulty level of test ??
If i can give an advice for this programme.
I had applied last year as i had some free time after CAT ( CAT 98.9% and GMAT 750)
1) The test is utterly stupid and any engineer worth his salt should be able to get 100% correct.
2) The GD is usual business . In my time around 30% selection in the GD round
3) The interview is not so stressful and they are interested in your work experience.
So all in all , it would seem like a nice deal.
Here are the flip flops.
1) Lots of ICICI employees attending this interview. Cannot say for sure they are given preference but overall there were vibes.
2) If you are too good , then you won't find your name in the final selection list.( from my GD batch , there were 4 who went past the GD : and none of us got selected in the final round
So as to give a background one guy is now with SP Jain , one is with IIT D , one is still with TCS ( around 4 years of analytic experience ) and myself with 4 years exp in German MNC from a sales and marketing background.
Without condescending , i think that they want to fill their middle and lower middle management layers without paying too much money ( you may think 15 lpa + stipend ) is much. but believe me it is not in the banking sector.
3) Check out the university offering the programme. seemed like **** thing to be honest. So if you are really serious about your education , i would like you to do some research . Do not blindly follow the 15 lakh CTC assurance. Think for yourselves what the degree means to you ?
4) Check out the Bond with ICICI that you have to sign.
Endpoint : If you are really stuck with a job in the 5-10 l.p.a bracket and want a career shift in any case , then please apply. In all honesty , if you really want to do a serious MBA , then i wish you all the best for your CAT and GMAT

I had applied for the Vth as well as the VI batch for the program (The only driving force being the 15Lacs CTC). The aptitude test was a piece of cake walk. After the written test they virtually call all the candidates for the GD round. I am working with a IBM and previously worked with TCS. My major experience was in the Retail Industry and Health care sector. So practically I did not have any banking knowledge or experience.
So the first time I went for the GD I was handed a 3 page booklet and I was asked to analyze the case study and speak. I had no clue what so ever. But still I managed to blabber something. I was not selected for the interview. Heart broken and disappointed, I cursed my stars.
Like a wounded tiger I waited for batch VI and started preparing myself. I had done almost 7 NCFM certifications starting from Beginners module to the advanced modules.Banking modules as well I had around 7 certificates. My thought was if I am asked why would they consider me since I am not from that Industry then at least I am ready with my answers.
Then finally the day came. I cleared my Apti and I was given a call for the GD. I was pretty confident this time. I successfully cleared my GD and I was told to wait for the interview. Some 3 people were selected for the interview from my GD batch of 10. Now coming to the interview part I was confident and outmoded. The entire interview ended in a very positive note. They appreciated the fact that even though my industry was different but still I had put my efforts to gain knowledge about the banking industry.. Everything was very positive absolutely nothing went wrong during the entire process...
Then the long tiring wait began..days crawled slowly and one day I got a mail that sorry we cannot take your candidature forward...I was pretty disappointed that day...But I had to let it go..
The bottom line I dont know what exactly they are looking for in a candidate. I will fill up again...But I am not that interested this time...I would take @l3torque comment concentrate my energy and effort towards GMAT so that can get a genuine MBA degree.

has anyone applied for the BATCH VII .. For some reason , i dont know why, I fill up the application form & upload my resume , then i click on the "submit resume " , i dont get a confirmation that my application is registered for the programme . has anyone faced this similar issue while applying for the Batch VII ?😲.
Do we get a confirmation page stating that our application/resume is registed. There has been no communication from the ICICI side . neither a mail nor a sms . The helpline numbers given "180030025454" doesn't work & their mail ID "nuibankmba@
