I need to know about government plan to dilute stake in IDBI Bank. If there is such plan then I seek information about how much stake govt is going to sell and when the process will be completing.
Also Is there any plan to privatise the IDBI Bank if yes then has the govt started the process

Reply :- Please refer to your RTI application bearing Reg. No. DOFSR/R/2015/64301 dated 17.12.2015 under RTI Act. As regards the subject matter of the request, I am to inform that the Public Sector Banks (PSBs) including IDBI Bank have been allowed to raise capital from Public Markets through Follow-on Public Offer (FPO) or Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) by diluting Government of India holding upto 52% in phased manner based on their capital requirement, their stock performance, liquidity, market condition etc.
Just now I got a mail, the reporting date is on 9th January !!
PS : I was already in the merit list, couldn't join on 28th oct due to some personal reasons.
Got a mail regarding date of commencement of PGDBF programme which is on 11th of January along with Letter of Admission.. Reporting Date-09.01.16 Last date of acceptance of letter-04.01.2016
