@if IGTC has a network of 3000 companies why only 80% have been placed ,when the no of students is just 50,cant compare with other Mumbai Bschools as the total no of students is around 150-300
network of 3000 companies yet 80% placed ,when the batch size is just 50,it means only35-40 people placed that too with apackage of 4-4.5
can you suggest no. of question asked in written and what are the topics asked in essay writing, is there any sectional cutoff ???

hi dear fellas...I have done BE mech with 14 months full time work exp.
I appeared for cat, cmat and trying to get into good b school...I have already got call from NICMAR (pune),which is a good institute so far i know.....
but still i am confused whether to go for igtc or NICMAR ?...i mean my PI round at igtc is on 11th june...but as far as the future career, placement and value for 2 years is concerned; i am bit doubtful on igtc....i mean, its so unclear that which companies i am going to face in PI,value of the igtc certificate etc as this will be my final educational venture!!...
So, guys will it be a good decision if, i opted igtc so as indirectly invest my 2 years in an certificate programe?
N.B : i doubt igtc for following resons:
1) though i have cleared both exam and GD round, they even didn't bother to check my education background, work exp, projects i did etc.... ( an below avg college asks for xerox of 10, 12th and graduation at least!!
)
2) they have mentioned audi, VW, Volvo, bayer,etc big guns...but only 1 student per batch has been placed in those!!!...thts strange!..( i do have seen people workig with India pvt ltd companies after doing igtc )
3) its just a certificate...( like NIIT offers)....so what would be its value once through with this program?
guys.... no offence!, but above points really made me think about Igtc..!!!

Hey... I have done my BE Mech from Mumbai University and working with a pay package of 6 lac CTC.
1. I will complete 2 years in 2014 June. What do u suggest, is it advisable to invest 18 months for the IGTC program ???
2. Also, do you think I will get a sufficient pay package after the program is done ???

I've gotten into a couple of tier-II B-schools (namely SIMS, SIMC, KJ Somaiya, Welingkar and TAPMI). However, I plan to drop these options, enroll in the PGPBA program at IGTC and prepare on the side for the management tests (I've got XLRI, MICA, SIBM and the IIMs in mind).
Would my internships at IGTC and the PGPBA certificate count towards my chances of getting into a good MBA program? I'm fairly sure my time as an intern won't count as work experience, but will the qualification help?
I am not an engineer. What kind of profile can I expect at a participating company? I am rather fond of PR and corporate communications. Are there any companies that have offered such roles in the past?

Hello friends, I saw recruiters list of indo german training center mumbai and it looks preety decent . I will have an expericene of a year coming august. But seeing the posts I came to know that avg . package is only about 4-5 lakhs. having firms such as bayer and basf ; how can the avg package be so low?? can someone please throw a light on this topic
