Puys.. concongratations to all the call getters !! CabN someone please tell me, during the time of form filling.. Did we have to apply for Kolkata separately.. ?? In campus preference I gave Delhi.. Does that mean I am not eligible for Kolkata ?
Hey guys, I got shortlisted for IIFT, but my name was way low in the pdf(probably 1365). So, do I stand a chance at making it into the Delhi Campus even if I prepare hard for gd-pi-essay. Also what should be my focus for gd-pi. Plz help..
For all those aiming for IIFT GD-PI. heres my last year experience. I think u mite get something out of it.
IIFT convert and ur chance of getting in IIFT Delhi depends on ur overall score. Last year when i faced GD-PI i felt was a formality. To large extent ur score matters.
Have a justification ready for everything. A form will be send out to u by IIFT in few days. Whatever u write in dat be very thorough nd dont fake. Keep it in single handwriting nd single pen (form would be long). Interview mostly focuses on who u r and what u expect from joining IIFT. I think interview lasted 10 min, very chilled out interview. I didnt find nyone who said they were grilled by interview panel. For GD be thoroughly prepared for abstract topics. Mostly a panel of 2-3 faculty evaluates u. Join TIME/IMS (i dont no, i never joined). For writing assessment i remmber getting a topic i had no clues about. something on income tax reform laws (remmber vaguely). So do read everything related to economics nd laws.. Recent activities in economy. BDW know the college well.

Having overall 34.27 .(NC-OBC), Cleared first round of IIFT. Can anyone tell me with this score will i be able to make it to IIFT D. ??

I have got 2.47 mark according to iift in GK . I have scored 44.25 mark. i have attempted 8 right in GK and 9 wrong. if i calculate the score it is 8*1/2- 9*1/6=2.5 . But IIFT has calculated as 8*0.5-9*0.17=2.47. so i did not clear the cut off
Hey guys i scored 99.44 percentile in IIFT. So i wanted to know what is the weight-age given to the IIFT score while calculating the final score after GDPI ?
