Once again congratulations for cracking the most competitive exam. It's time to take it to the next level. Preparing for GDPI from right now won't harm.
What to prepare?
1. Fill the form with all sincerity. Most of the questions will appear from your form itself.
2. WAT/GD : Prepare a bit about macroeconomics (CFA L1 book Economics, available online Scheweser) would do. Most importantly build your view points regarding world Eco-Political sentiment. Read a few good reports from Goldman Sachs, PWC,Deloitte, McK.)
3. Build deeper insights on your relevant sector. IBEF would do for a start, and then find other reports.
4. A few qs about yourself, your wrk ex,why MBA need to be prepared.
PS: Send me PMs. I will try to reply as and when I visit PG.
I have cleared 3 sections of but unfortunately I was unable to clear the cut off of QA by 1.3 %tile hence I am not shortlisted for second round. Feeling exhausted , maar daalo muje koiiiii.. Will they release other list of short listed student may be for them who have cleared 3 sections but not one , heheheh :>
Have anyone received email from IIFT about interview confirmation date ? or about whether they have accepted the CV form or not ? mera ek din late ho gaya thha pahuchane mein 😞
GUYS , FYI, have confirmed the Kolkata PI WAT dates on phone from the admissions office. 02-04 Feb. Cheers. ALso, it is true, its alphabetical order of declaration of dates for cities 😃
Like earlier years, IIFT has completed its final placement much earlier than its peers.Hopefully the brand names under our belt will push you to work harder.
Hope you guys are doing great and your preparation is on track.By now I hope you all know, we (IIFTians) have completed our final placement for 2013-15 batch in record time. So it makes next round even more important for you.
Now to all low scorers and high scorers. Put all the biases aside as of now. Just focus on your preparation and give your 100%. Sharing my experience (2013-15 batch cut off was 50 marks), people with high score of 58-60 could not made it to any of the list, not even wait list, and people with border line score 51.XX made it in the fist list. Idea is do not be complacent if you have high score and if you have low score start preparing to nail the high scorers.
I know when we were asking all of you to prepare for you second round , most of you were busy first in predicting cut offs ,next in predicting score cards and now busy in discussing GD/PI venues and date.

I have an interview call from IIFT but they haven't released the dates for delhi people. Also from today slot booking will start for SP Jain and for both of them range of interview dates are clashing. Is anyone from delhi facing the same problem. Also if anyone could provide the tentative interview dates for IIFT. The range for SP Jain is between 3-5 feb I guess.
