Hi, I have by mistake selected wrong category while filling the form. Is there any provision for changing the category now?
When can we expect IIFT result to be declared?
Can someone provide the approach to IIFT exam.....I mean the pattern to follow,number of questions in a particular section to go for? Cut-off marks for sections and stuff?
I attempted previous years iift pprs but can't score equal to their respective cutoffs. On avg I'm scoring 8to 10 marks less. Can't find enough time to attempt DI during the 2hrs. Can someone help me out here.
Hi guys, hopefully CAT went well for most of you, if not, it's okay, don't worry too much about it and start focusing on the IIFT exam. I wrote IIFT last year and converted IIFT-D, but ended up joining IIM Calcutta. I thought I would share a few pointers about the IIFT exam- 1. Unlike CAT, IIFT Exam has been traditionally predictable with similar kind of question sets from previous years 2. Time management is very crucial here, do spend some time coming up with a time management strategy across sections that works for you. 3. DI sets are going to be calculation intensive, my strategy was to attempt questions with easier calculations across sets, instead of trying to attempt the entire set 4. LR questions are expected to be fairly straight-forward, QA should be easy if you have fundamental concept clarity. Time management is important here. 5. The verbal section isn't expected to throw up any surprises. Read the RC paras carefully , RC questions will be straight-forward. Sentence correction, Jumbled paragraphs etc should be moderate to easy. 6. Try to brush up on your General Awareness. It comes in very handy. Questions are going to be a mix of current and static GK. Be calm and go with a clear head. All the best Puys!
