Wasn't shortlisted for IIFT. But just need some help from those who were shortlisted, just so I can get over this.
VA 5.34
QA 8.67
DI 1
RC 5
LR 15.67
GK 0.66
OA - 36.34 (according to TIME)
Did I screw up only because of GK? I attempted 4 and got 2 wrong. Now I realise, had I not attempted that one question which I got wrong (the Saina Nehwal RC qsn) I would have got approx 0.83. Would this have helped me in getting a call?
Just want to put this past me and prepare for XAT and CET. TIA
Guys can you comment ur di scores? Damned in both snap and iift. OA iift scores according was 38. Missed at shitmonger DI. Please comment for general category.
How many of you feel that you should have got in based on the cut-offs being discussed but didn't get in? Is it just me or there are many others who feel the result is shockingly unexpected . Inspite of comapring marks with the answer keys provided , I did'nt get in. Obviously we'll all wait fpor score cards , but still please mark this survey so that we get a rough idea , of what actually happened ?
RANT: Ignore if you wish
First of all, I guess my writing a rant makes it clear I didn't make it through. So there's that. Congratulations to everyone who did. Best of luck for the future stages and other exams.
Now, why results couldn't have waited one weekend is beyond me. Two exams in the next two days and this has been demotivating as hell. This much negativity in the mind isn't conducive to giving TISS and XAT and now doubts emerge for CAT result as well. Had they waited two more days, everyone who got in would still be happy but the others wouldn't have had to go through this negativity close to XAT.
I guess it's a silly question but what is the criteria for giving a particular Serial no. to a shortlisted candidate?? Are they sorted marks-wise or randomly??
Any clue about the General call to convert ratio? Asking since the results are very unexpected... Does iift call this no of candidates for 2nd round every year ya is saal kuch alag hain numbers?
