In WAT, are we given one topic to write on or we are given 3-4 topics and we have freedom to choose the topic from among those 3-4 which we are comfortable?

I was not able to grasp the logic of cut-offs .. If our name is in the shortlisted candidates, how do the cut-offs come into the picture .. Pls  someone explain.

Is it true that number of seats in IIFT is increasing from 2016-18 session? If yes, then how many ?

1. Does Reservation happens @ every stage of selection  or only for the first stage?  For Eg, if an OBC candidate gets 45 and General candidate gets 50 , then a weightage of X% on IIFT Score is equally applicable for both right ? Will the admissions committee consider all the 1500 to be in the same pool or a separate one. And what percentage of total seats are meant for General Candidates ?

2. What are the odds of a person who has just crossed the cutoffs getting selected for IIFT ? Are there any such students in the current batch ?

3. What is the next stage of application ? Where do I need to submit more information about my profile for subsequent stages.
