Need some perspective here..... Iift Kolkata converted....iift Delhi waitlisted at 210. GEM. Considering last year the movement from Kolkata to Delhi was was uptil 80, does it make any sense to pay 20k and be wait listed at delhi? Or is there absolutely no chance?

Iift kolkata converted . Obc ncl category waitlist for delhi is 7 any chances to clear delhi ?
Hi Guys! Hope you are doing well. A lot of candidates are having doubts over waitlist movement. For 16-18 batch the waitlist movement to Kolkata was about 282. For 17-19 batch the waitlist movement was around 230. Last year waitlist was updated 3 times. Last WL no. which cleared Delhi was in 70s. A student with initial WL no. 59 cleared in 3rd list. A student with initial WL no. 104 had WL no. 13 at end. First updated list : 7th June. Second updated list: 20th June. Third updated list: 29th June. College started from 30th June. Hope this helps. I recieved the letter for waitlist at kolkata campus and i have a doubt. It says that if i am offered confirmed admission after paying 20k then i have to pay remaining 3.7 lakh within stipulated time and if i dont pay i will lose my 20k. So what if i don't want admission after getting final offer?. Will i get the entire 3.9 lakh refunded?. @kingslayer59

Acc. To time and ims ranking iift Delhi comes in top 10 and iift kol. Comes in top 20 institutes of india... so be careful if you are thinking to leave iift :)
IIFT Delhi WL 70. What are the chances of conversion? If I convert, by what date should I expect it? Also, is it true that the number of seats at IIFT-D has increased this year?
