When is the second waitlist for iift k coming out?
Just called the AO, my waitlist no is 102 now, for K. Earlier it was 362(gen). Upon asking about when will there be next wait list, they said 2nd june. Surprised to see this huge movement. Although my chances seem sleek, what do you guys think? How much will be the next wl movement?
I know of some guys( 185 wl, 150wl) who were in the K waitlist last year(general) and made it to Delhi. Any idea how this could have happened?

Guys, I got to know from a reliable source that the batch size of Kolkata is increasing. It can be upto 180 this year. That's a 50% increase from last year. Reason seems to be the delay in opening of Kakinada campus. Take your decision wisely. Please do your research properly before joining.
Hello Everyone,
I have a query regarding the admission letter.
While applying to IIFT, they needed 2 recommendation letters. I asked the concerned people and got the letters in a sealed envelope (as sealed envelope is the correct way). Then i sent them as it is. Now IIFT needs the original letters on the day of commencement. Understandably, I have no way to submit those as they are already with IIFT. I have tried contacting the admissions but to no avail.
Any response will be appreciated.
What is process for withdrawing, if you are still waitlisted?
Hi everyone.... Is it wise to join IIFT kolkata with 46 months experience(Workex in after sale service- operations related).. I have heard that companies dont prefer candidates with high workex in final placements. Also, as per batch profile, less than 10% has 3+years wotkex in IIFT while for new IIMs the percentage is greater than 25. Also, i am not intrested in S & M roles, intrested in trade or operations related roles. Please provide ur opinions.
