have they released second waitlist ..my name was not there in first waitlist even after scoring 99% anybody give a feedback....can i expect a call
Just called AO. She says all seats are full. Withdrawl hua nahi hai. But 5th or 6th ko phone karne ke liye. How it can be that all seats are full??
Hey puys, I am going to withdraw my admission from IIFT Delhi. Is there any format in which we have to send the admission cancellation letter? If anybody has sent it could you please send me the format.
Some of you are claiming new IIMs to be better than IIFT K.
Here's the food for thought:
IIFT Overall avg reported: 19+ lpa | Domestic : 18+ lpa
Batch strength 2016–18: 280 | IIFT D (160 students) | IIFT K (120 Students)

If you say IIFT K isn’t performing as well as some of the other colleges like IIM Ranchi, IIM Trichy, then let’s first demystify this myth with some calculations:
- IIM Ranchi’s avg domestic: 15; (The number is much lower for other New IIMs).
- Going by the above premise, IIFT K’s domestic avg should be less than 15; Let’s say 14 lpa (Which is still better than almost all new IIMs)
- For IIFT’s overall domestic average to be 18 lpa and IIFT K;’s avg to be 14, let us calculate what would have been IIFT D’s average?!
i.e.,
- ((120*Kolkata’s avg) + (160*Delhi’s average))/280 = Overall avg
or, ((120*14)+(160*X))/280=18
or, X =D's domestic avg = 21 lpa domestic avg
OMG! So, by that logic, IIFT D should be better than OR comparable to IIM A, B and C!!! with 21 lpa as domestic avg.
Which clearly isn’t the case. So, a quick brain check establishes that IIFT K is at least better than IIM Ranchi, NM, IIM Shillong, etc.

Got off the phone with AO. There has been no movement in Delhi or Kolkata. Can this really be true? Has no one from this group withdrawn their application after the first list?
