I need a help
in my sop i have written that i want to enhance my operations and interpersonal skills
now i am not able to give very concrete examples from IT industry to relate to operationals
skills i read in interviews they were questioning on every word, can anybody help me out and also provide some material from where i can read abt operations
@RichaNarayan Dude it needs to be why YOU want to study operations, not why somebody else would like to and you trying to pass it off as your own. you can google about ops if you want, but you need to be convinced first to convince the panelists as to why ops.
That apart, try reading about the job profiles of operations graduates or industrial engineers in IT. In fact, if you're in a decently big IT company look for an industrial engineer and talk to them about the kind of work they do and see if you find it interesting.

I think your profile is just awesome. Although based on what i have seen profiles of people shortlisted by IIMB have weightage of work experience. You being just out of college i presume, IIM B would want you to gain some corporate experience. I am sure you will be handpicked by them once you are experienced enough. All the best.
@abhi.iimb At iim b i was asked to submit the NC OBC certificate dedicated for IIMs, not the normal one. I have the dedicated one with me now. They asked me to scan and send it to the admissions office. may i know the admissions office email id? @abhi.iimb
