@anudeepms I dont think anyone would have a specific data. If your interview is still to go, I would suggest that you prepare well, and if its done, chill maadi, coz there is nothing more that you can do...

@abhi.iimb I don't have a call from Bangalore but just for clarification. BA(H) Economics from DU would be counted under Arts right? Because stats from IIML and IIMC also show just 1-2% arts students, which to me is quite shocking, because so many eco hons students here prepare for CAT and want to do an MBA!

@shubham_agar Yes, BA(H) Economics from DU would be counted under Arts. But now the institute is trying to get more students from Non-Engg disciplines including Arts. So, your chances will only improve. One of the Eco graduates admitted is also one of the toppers in our section.So the entry bar is really high.

@abhi.iimb I hope that works for me in Calcutta where they are giving non-engineers 2% extra. 😛 I doubt the extra marks will help much though what may matter is that the panel may be just a wee bit less strict. (praying)

PS: Is that Madhur Bansal by any chance? He used to be my senior in school!

Anyway sorry for barging into Bangalore's thread. I hope I make it to C and meet your batch in some debate somewhere. :P

PS: The thing which struck me the most when not called for B's interview was the fact that 3 Idiots was shot there. And I always wanted to see that giant "Thank You IIM-B" sign in person.

@ROFL and @aqua_fun The elderly Ma'am is The Admissions Officer, as we found out later after joining the institute. So the countdown begins
