How should one prepare for PGDBA interview? Any idea?
I'm an Engineer with 2.5+ years of Work-experience. Zero knowledge of Python or anything related to Business Analytics, I guess. Acads, communication etc are good.
Done with the interview at Bangalore centre.2 boards of 2-3 panelists each. I was in board 1. The middle guy was from IIT kgp, other two from ISI (doubtful) Started with a infinitesimal amount of positivity and then it went on to ragging xD. Heads up : They are gonna grill you on CAT as well :D
How many candidates did they actually shortlist? I was in the afternoon slot of Mumbai and there weren't more than 20 aspirants with me.
How was everyone's interview experience. In Bangalore they were taking interview with a sad face.
Mine was CS background with no workex.
They asked for favourite subject.
I told them Networks, Algorithms, Graphs.
Started with Networks-- Tell about OSI/TCP IP Model
Various Routing algorithms you know.
Explain djisktras. Any other Routing algo I told OSPF.
Then they moved to MSTs. Euler Circuits, Hamiltonians.
One to One and onto functions. |x| Functions. NP Completeness, Hard Problem. What is a Finite Automata, decidability, Turing Machine.
Then on hobbies and Why PGDBA.
Anyone belongs to OBC who have already appeared for interview?
Does anyone have any idea on how the interview marks are normalized given that the interview took place at 5 locations and in 2 slots each. How do they neglect the bias between assessment of different panels?

Got 84 in pgdba. Category SC. Interview was ok. No work ex. 10th - 89.6 12th - 83.4 Is there any chance for me to get selected?
