yeah aditya , the increasing membership of IIMI06-08 group has freaked me out too. thats 1 factor why i have gone pessimistic after the L w/l came out.??: (my signature is says what i dont really believe in)
U said in ur earlier post that only 50% seats at IIMI r taken up. Hope it happens for those who cleared after 1st may. Continuing with speculation , I think if L w/l moves till 200, then we r in , bcoz there will be many in I who will be b/w 100 and 200 of L w/l. And if on 16th , w/l moves by 50 (not 30), i think then we have a chance
I hope that I get a gr8 gift on 16th May. (the status will be known on 16th , not 15th right ?)

@nospeedlimit : bhai , u will definitely make it to IIMA, have been following IIMA w/l thread , u have a gr8 chance and subsequent obligation to withdraw ur admission from IIMI

ive just called up iimi office(cudnt control the anxiety) and have a bad news... he told me to call after 5 pm tomorrow for the status. i asked him whether there will be any significant change in the waitlist. and he said " im doubtful, but still check it out tomorrow". now i think only a miracle can save us.....
yeah, i also called up & he said the same thing about the movement in wait list. in fact he cruelly added * WE'VE GOT THE BATCH*they'll have some review meeting tomorrow n asked to check up after 5pm tomorrow....
Just talked to Indore Admissions Office, they said there's no scope of w/l movement. All Seats are filled up it seems. Well, thats the end of CAT 2005 for ppl languishing last in the w/l. (even if some movement happens , ppl in last will not be affected). A miracle will have to happen now to get us in .

I had been waitlisted at 3 and just had a chat with the people in admission office .
The person on the phone said that there will be a review meeting today and asked me to call back after 5. when I asked about my chances he said that the chances are bleak:neutral:
wait for the next WL movement at lucknow, i have a WL 10 there after the first 90 were cleared, and have paid up at indore, pray to god for 2 more ppl like me and wait till 27th may and keep ur fingers crossed. Who knows what might happen!!
i have been officially F.U.B.A.R,wait a sec,not beyond reco,i guuess... i called them now,they told to contact again after 28th may,no seat empty as of now,i repeat no seat empty as of now.
so now its officially over as i said earlier. This year strange things have been happening with w/l . Chalo ab sab w/l >20 can start preparing for CAT 2006 .
Bhai logon , its high time we left our w/l woes behind (esp shekar , life isnt stuck in w/l) and blast CAT 2k6 with solid preparation , so that we a get a rocking %tile (>99.7)

last yr they have the batch strength of 120...while for this yr it is 180...so in dat way seats have increased...but they must have given final calls in the same proportion so dat explains the reason for no w/l clearance...also little movement in L w/l is also the reason for no w/l clearance...
so this is it then.. 1 month of waiting game has a tragic end . i still cant believe how this time waitlist movement is so different from the previous one. anyway nothing we can do abt it... may be we r destined somewhere else...... im going to take a break and forget abt 05 debacle and concentrate on world cup next month.. dkm bhai ..... happy b'day, hope ull have a couple of final calls for ur bday next yr. (btw mine is on may 30, expecting a mail from iimi adm office on that day )
thanks aditya bhai , im sure smthing better is in store for us. Certainly this was not our time and I believe our time will come sooner (not later). Do remain active on PG bhai , and who knows what miracles can happen , and it cud be may 30th also. 😃
