As a follow up of yesterday's post, below are some of the interview debriefs transcripts of applicants we worked with this year :


Candidate 1 : " The difficult part was getting the interviewers to talk about something (macro economics) that I had thorough confidence and knowledge about. Once that was done, the interview became very smooth. I tried to follow your advice and remain confident throughout the discussion - let's see what happens. 


Candidate 2 : "Glad you asked the 'Googly questions' during the 2nd mock interview. The interviewers wanted to put me off by asking questions related to policy making and the energy sector. I think I was able to think on my feet and manage to give a logical response"


Candidate 3 : "The interviewers were not very convinced about the reason for my career shift as mentioned in the essays. So they probes me further on that aspect. For eg. I said the situation is dismal so they wanted me to explain why..give examples. Etc. Pretty much the focus was in my domain knowledge. Also, I think I could have done better on my 'if not ISB - what is your Plan B' question. 


Candidate 4 : "I am glad that I took your services. I believe 70% of questions were on very similar lines as to what you had prepared for and for the rest 30% I think I followed your guideline of giving a thoughtful, logical and structured answer. Overall I am content with my responses. Btw they asked me the same question, which you had asked yesterday -what will I do if I become the Transportation Minister of the country for 7 days. "


Candidate 5 : "I was astonished to find out that one of my interviewers had complete knowledge of IoT, AI, Blockchain etc. We had a very good discussion on such topics. Per your advice, I made a conscious effort not to get into any debates about any topic. Hope he would vouch for my case"
