Is there anyone who have not received acceptance or rejection mail from ISB?
Hi people, any idea if R2 applicants will get a 1 month extension after Dec 15th for submitting their GMAT scores just like R1 applicants? Need this info very urgently.
Congratulations to all the R1 admits. You deserve it!! PM me if you need any info about Hyderabad campus or ISB in general.
Received admit for 2019-2020 session and I can not thank enough GyanOne and their consultant Rishabh
Working with GyanOne and Rishabh was so crucial to putting together a strong application. The whole process was made easier by Rishabh's extremely organized and straightforward approach. Without him, I would not have been confident and relaxed. During the essay portion, he highlighted the core part of my professional/personal story and goals, and I felt proud of my essays when I delivered my application.
I would definitely recommend GyanOne and Rishabh to anyone considering hiring an MBA consultant!
My Story: ISB Admit 2018 with GyanOne
I am an ISB admit for 2020 batch. I started my MBA journey with lots of insecurities and hurdles. Reaching out to GyanOne was perhaps the best thing that I could have done to boost up my chances of getting through to ISB. Right from the very beginning, Gyanone has been extremely proactive and collaborative : we worked as a unit to attain my dream. On certain instances, I felt that Gyanone could have done slightly better but my overall experience has been beyond expectations.
STEP:1 – Profile evaluation
We started out with the initial evaluation of my profile with my GMAT score. We identified the strengths and weakness of my overall profile and realized that if we tried our best (which means hard work and yes many sleepless nights for me.. :) it may not be so much of an uphill task as we feared - I could actually make it. The risks were high and for me, at a personal level the stakes were high too.
STEP:2 - Essay
We started working on my essays with Rishabh – This could be the deal breaker because getting the call at the first place was of utmost importance. Rishabh worked tirelessly to help me in this phase. We had multiple rounds to review and review my essays. Rishabh did a wonderful job of portraying my authentic self through these essays (this includes my scholarship essays as well). He cleared my doubts and guided me in every way possible to make sure that my preparation and research was foolproof.
STEP:3 – Application & recommendation
With the application deadline drawing near, we had in-depth discussions on what points to include in which specific application fields – achievements, experience, awards etc. I would mention that on the profile side I did have a strong case. I would briefly list it below. He also guided me on what proofs to provide for my scholarship application and who would be the right choice for a recommender among the list of recommenders I had.
STEP: 4 – Call and Interview Prep
My interview prep was with Swati. We had one long session of my doubts and how to frame my answers, and one Mock Interview. Prior to the Interview, my idea of prep was very good-I was content. However, after the Interview I felt that my mocks had the following things missed : very detailed grilling on things very specific to my profile (Since I faced this in the ISB Interview) – most of the questions asked were at very generic level. I felt the Mock could have been much better. Secondly, the pace of the Mock was very slow and comfortable, whereas my actual interview was like a Rapid Fire round for 40 minutes – extremely exhausting. The Mock could have been like this to boost candidate confidence but I would have preferred a more real-time simulation.
I got the Admit after 24 days of the Interview.
My last suggestion is that if the Candidate is sincere and hardworking, Gyanone will give an extraordinary effort to make you get the Admit. Yes, I feel that their Services is extremely expensive but for me it was like having the guarantee that this is the best that I can do for my MBA dreams. Hence, this is a good investment. Keeping the monetary aspect aside, I would like to repeat to Gyanone Team: Thank you for helping me bring the best of myself – I will be indebted !
Any update by the people who sent their scores later?
Guys I am planning to give GMAT in March 2019. Will Indian or foreign colleges accept the score for the cycle of 2019 admission or is it too late ?
Guys,
I can totally understand the efforts that you are all putting up for getting an admission to one of the most prestigious MBA programs in this country i.e. PGP 1 year at ISB. Good news is that I was in the same spot just an year back (currently a PGP'19 student at ISB) and I believe that I am better placed to help you with a recommendation that will not only help you get through the admission process but also connect you to some of the great mentors for life!
I would highly advice ISB aspirants to get in touch with the team at www.crackadmission.com. The forum is run by talented ISB alumni. These guys will extend a great deal of ideas that will be immensely helpful to write a structured and persuasive application for the program. all if this with a flexibility to personalize your package as you move along your admissions journey. I strongly believe that the alums of the school are always better placed to get you the true facts about the progra and will help you take the right call that is going to be so critical for your career progression in the coming years!!
Crackadmission team will take out ample time to understand your story and provide proactive inputs on your essays and interviews. The turaround for final draft is as low as a week for each essay. You will go through multiple rounds of revisions - generally over 7-8 and once you make it to the interview list, they will support your interview prep through personalized mocks, making you extremely comfortable for the D day! Mind it...The jouney won't stop there ..they will also help you take the right call during the placement season since they would have known you so well by then :)

Dear All,
I have received an admit from Indian School of Business (ISB) Class of 2020 and would like to share my experience of admission consulting services offered by GyanOne.
GyanOne is now one of the top 3 MBA admission consultants in India and their strong growth in the sector is not a surprise for all those who have interacted with the team. One of the best aspects of their services is that unlike other consulting institutes which have a prominent face on top but the actual services are provided by another consultant, GyanOne’s MBA consulting services are provided by the founders Rishabh Sir and Swati Ma’am themselves. Owing to their vast experience in this space and strong knowledge of MBA colleges all over the world, the entire process seems like a breeze and the results are the best you can achieve.
I strongly recommend GyanOne to fellow applicants to B-Schools and will be happy to answer any questions on GyanOne.
