I had my interview last weekend in Mumbai for ISB.
The environment was very casual. I was called from the waiting area and I joined a room with 2 panels-both alums and both were super sweet. I was a little uncomfortable with the A/C temperature- it was a bit chilly and it made my voice tremble further because I was so nervous. I asked if I could increase the temperature and they promptly fixed that.
They just want to know about you. I was not grilled. It was a very breezy conversation.
Also, *AFAIK*, the interview rounds are not elimination rounds. They want to evaluate you on few parameters and the alums give you ratings for those attributes. So don't think that this interview is THE deciding factor. It is part of the deciding factors of your application. Again, AFAIK.
I was not even asked the typical questions (like Why ISB, Why MBA...etc). But we did discuss my short term and long term goals. We ended up talking a lot of time on something that I hadn't planned on talking a lot. It all depends on how the conversation is going actually.
At the end, I didn't even feel like I had delivered enough or talked about the main points that I had prepared for.
Tip: Just have your thoughts sorted. Don't over rehearse.
Does anyone here or members of adcom have any information on the dates by which we should get confirmation of selection/rejection (after interview) from ISB for Round 2 applicants?
Is it on a rolling basis, or is there a fixed date on which all applicants would be communicated the results?
My interview was scheduled on 5th Jan 2019 for Mumbai location.
I can see that round 2 interviews will be scheduled till like 10 Feb for other locations.
Have they already sent out interview invites for 12th and 13th?
Also, were last weekend's interviews held only in Mumbai, or did they take place in Hyderabad, as well?

Just wanted to know what's the gap I'd ought to typically maintain between the interview time (as mentioned in the invite) and the return flight time.
