Your resume is the first impression the recruiters get about you. And on an average, only 4-6 out of 250 resumes for any job posting gets to the next round in off-campus placements & on campus, this number can be 10-12. So, it becomes extremely crucial for your resume to pass this test to Ace Your Dream Role.
Ace Your Campus an initiative by graduates of the Indian Institute of Management, has come up with a 100-minute Resume Building Virtual Boot Camp, specially curated to help graduates build a resume that can help them get the maximum number of shortlists for the On-Campus & Off-Campus Placements. The workshop is designed for students who are appearing for their Internship & Final Placement!
I did not get any mail yet regarding interviews and the final date is 20th Dec , does that mean I have been rejected considering that today is 11th Dec
The R2 admissions deadline is almost a month away.
If you have already taken the #GMAT or #GRE, then you should have already started preparing your applications. If not, then approach in the following manner,
- You're taking the test in the next 10 days- focus ONLY on the preparation and don't worry about the application. Put your best foot forward
- You're taking the test after December 25th- start with your application in parallel. Get a bit of introspection (v.imp) and a basic structure of your essays in place. Pause ~7-8 days before the test and then resume your application
Your past academic record or your work experience are the areas which you cannot change now. The test score and the essays are things that you can control when you decide to apply for ISB (or any other B-school).
Writing an essay is an art, especially when it is for your MBA application. It is these essays that become a “deal-maker” or a “deal-breaker” for most applicants.
The R2 admissions deadline for ISB's PGP is on 10th January 2021 and I hope your preparation is already underway. I'm sure there would be a number of questions on your mind about the process, selection criteria, etc.
I will be facilitating a live Q&A with Amit Tyagi from Indian School of Business's admissions team on Monday, December 21, 2020, from 1900hrs IST onwards.
Looking forward to an engaging discussion and interesting questions from the ISB aspirants.

When can we expect the Interview shortlist for round 2 to be declared? Did everyone in R1 get their verdict?(Converted/WL/Rejected) Please put in your answers here as this is going to be helpful for a lot of us and Is 720(Q50,V37) with good acads and experience with a Big4 in IT Consulting good enough? Asking this as I have been seeing only 740-760 scorers sharing good news of their conversion.

Hi! I got into ISB through the YLP program. I finished by B.Tech in June, 2020 and have been running my own business since then. My question is will ISB help me run my business better or is it only good for placements?
