can anyone among fresh joinees in infy let me know of the package infy is offering to freshers.and what wud this sum amount to aftre the completion of training and after completing 6 months in the company.coz' i have heard that infy has increased the package it earlier used to offer to freshers.
P.S.If anybody does have the exact information in figures pls PM me.

not exactly...coz in my grp i was d last one 2 b intimidated as rest max were seniors(2004,2005 guys)...but i hv heared ppl waitin for longer periods...nd in my case also,i hv jus got an e-mail...dats it yet 2 recieve ne hard copy...

I cant answer this to the point. Infosys takes time to call you for Written test and interviews as the number of application they rcv is in bulk. I had also applied in May last year but didnt got call. Thanks to TIMESJOBS that they conducted walk-in at Jaipur and I got selected.
Keep your fingers crossed.
Call will come but when cant predict.

dont get so desperate and keep cool.Infy really takes time to call people.I have seen even experienced people waiting to hear frm them.dont worry u will be selected and will be called.
What I wud suggest to u is just get in touch with someone working in infy and provide him ur roll no. and ask him to inquire abt the status in bangalore office.
i am sure this'll help resolve your issue.

but dude this i tell u that its not easy to get the call again.they'll call u for

i contacted a girl there but she said that they will not entertain anyone n thay tell result only by e-mail. another thing that i don't hv a roll no as i saw their ad in news paper on 3rd march n directly went there n they took test without alloting any roll no

then i think its gonna be difficult.urs seem to be some different case.coz' normally infy first sends call letter for appearing in the written test mentioning the roll number in that.
but since in ur case there in no roll no. sort of thing then barely on the basis of ur name it'll be quite cumbersome to inquire abt ur status.
but how can they conduct the test without specifying any unique id or roll no.U just have a check frm ur side.I guess there must be some unique id by which ur status cud be tracked out.Once that is found out i am sure status can be inquired abt if u approach some reasonable fellow there in infy who cud really take some time and pain to handle it.
first listen to me .infosys gave an advertisement in dainik jagran dated 3rd march that they are conducting a walkin 4 2004-2005 passouts and we hv to attend it in allahabad. naturally very few ppl come to know about it. some ppl brought hall tickets fm their colleges(where they did their B.Tech) so they hv roll nos. but others dont hv any. when i asked about roll no they said leave it blank we were not supposed to allot u roll nos even after written test i asked but they said me to keep my cool. one girl wrote aroll no which was alloted to her for infy's test some 1 year back as she also dont hv any.

Ok time to discuss something other than joining dates in here !!
Of late Ive been hearing that Infy has been insisting on ppl paying out the bond amount in case freshers leave within 1 yr of joining. It's been doing this starting from the June 2005 training batch. I remember lotsa ppl asking abt how Infy deals with *bhagodas* sometime last year and my answer always was "shudnt be a problem". But now that Infy is kinda dealing with this strictly, can we have some ppl who've been asked to pay out the bond amount posting here ??
My intention isnt to start Infy bashing over here but if the freshers are indeed being forced to pay out the bond amounts, there better be some awareness abt that here since close to 10K freshers join Infy annually and I am sure atleast 20% of them are CAT aspirants !! Added to this we have seen lotsa Infy vs CTS/Accenture threads. The freshers mite wanna consider this aspect if they have CAT plans in the near future.
