Dear friends i want's you to kindly pay attention on the issue which i am going to highlight. this JTO recruitment is very important for us and we worked very hard to secure very good marks in gate but due to four branch IN/CS/EC/EE competition is tough. i would like to hightlight an issue that In EC a person getting 60 marks has an score 797 whereas in Instrumentation a person getting 60 Marks has a score 630 which is a very huge difference that's why many IIT's And PSU's follows Normalized Gate Marks to prepare merit list. if bsnl also follows normalized marks procedure to prepare merit then it'll be fair,unbaised and justified procedure to our hard work.kindly mail bsnl regarding this issue with proper justification.
Normalized GATE Marks=( Marks obtained by the candidate in the subject/Maximum marks awarded in that particular subject) * 100
Example: Assume marks scored by the candidate is 64 out of 100 in EE Paper, where maximum marks in EE paper of that year is, say, 92. Then normalized GATE marks of the candidate in EE paper will be as follows:- Normalized GATE Marks in EE Paper of the candidate = (64/92)*100 = 69.56
